Oasis 03:32
Pull Up Pull Up came to the West Side, and rolled up my luck came for a test drive well I’m on the road to redemption potholes full of lessons now I’m hoping that these demons gon’ be holdin’ their questions I’m escaping from the Shawshank that I had in my brain coming out the other side lifting my head in the rain Talkin’ freedom that I never knew decide to be a better ME and not a better YOU headed to my OASIS we don’t know the way but we’re out here looking for it every day it’s my OASIS let’s go for a ride go for a journey where we don’t know the time OASIS I’ll show you a place we put on these records and we just let them play it’s my OASIS no worries tonight we just roll up and take our time So I’m livin’ it up negativity giving it up and I could just be fillin’ my cup but lately I feel like I’m feeling enough Not on that psilocybin but I’m trippin’ I could let this hit like a drum give up city slickin’ get that I’m picking a different vision and it fit like a glove And on to that mission to get lifted by the rhythm Take a note, the more we listen gettin’ closer to the vision of a world where God is Love doesn’t matter your religion so just turn the speakers up treat each other like we live in this OASIS we don’t know the way but we’re out here looking for it every day its my OASIS let’s go for a ride go for a journey where we don’t know the time OASIS I’ll show you a place we put on these records and we just let them play it’s my OASIS no worries tonight we just roll up and take our time So pull up pull up to the life you wanna live fill up your cup or if you wanna roll a spliff roll up roll up I don’t give a ___ don’t forget that you’re dead when you reject your faith in what your own reflection makes so learn to be a shepherd or get led like if your pencil breaks no loathing in the scent of hate like roses full of pepper spray like oceans full of leprosy you’re floating don’t let go of this OASIS we don’t know the way but we’re out here looking for it every day its my OASIS let’s go for a ride go for a journey where we don’t know the time OASIS I’ll show you a place we put on these records and we just let them play it’s my OASIS no worries tonight we just roll up and take our time

Those city lights and those pretty eyes and I bet you know you’re beautiful I can’t deny that I’m feeling high and I know it’s all because of you. So will you be down, down, down, just want you around, round, round, so lucky I found you at all So are you still down, down, down, I want you right now, now, now, So glad that I found you, but I just gotta know, are you still down Yeah I knew that there’d be days like this, yeah I knew that there’d be days like this. Where a pair of eyes would show me the future and get me thinking bout the things I’ve missed. So excuse me miss, I want to show you everything on my mind, walking for hours, never think of the time raining or sunny weather, we weather the storm just fine and whether you lay on a bed of feathers or thorns, I wanna be next to you. I asked her where she wanted to go, she said “somewhere colourful, at the end of the road, where we don’t have to get up early and don’t have to be home, and we don’t have to really worry about tapping a phone” Said I agree, so hop in, let’s head to the sea, Music up, windows down, now we’re catching a breeze. Dancing and singing and laughing, learning how to be free. Thinkin’ I never really want you to leave. So will you be [Chorus] Down, girl look around, sun rising, we’re on the balcony lookin’ out. The world is ours, we just gotta show these people how, chillin like there ain’t shit on the syllabus for a while, then we, paddle out, it’s a slow life. We’ll be back sippin’ mimosas before the ocean’s at full tide, Hop in that Studey and ride, that ’49, My foot on the gas pedal, you leanin’ over to drive. And we can dance on our own, playin another slow hit, swingin’ and moving slow, yellin’ Thank God for showbiz, really we Colorado, pure freedom out in the open, Chasin’ these freakin’ dollars and dream of seeing the ocean. I know this, I tore my hope up before and you sewed this, We bumpin’ Frank Sinatra, doors open, well I hope this Is different, on the balcony watching you speak, Thinkin’ I never really want you to leave. So will you be [Chorus] Are you down, sayin’ girl are you down, To hit up lazy rivers listening to “Come Around” Are you down, sayin’ girl are you down, To break the hourglass, make a beach upon the ground, Are you down, sayin’ girl are you down, To get roped into something we’ll remember for awhile. Are you down, sayin’ girl are you down…

Mr. Cool, Mr. Authentic, Mr. Coop, show me the way, I wanna float, float away from my senses, see the world from your perspective one day, We’re on the road to redemption always, we’re on the road to redemption always, and getting close to just finding our way, but now it’s feeling sort of distant. Mr. Cool, Mr. Authentic, Mr. Coop, show me the way, I wanna float, float away to the endless, this abyss of all these endless days. We’re on a road to redemption, a road to redemption and it’s leading us too far away from our home within ourselves, put our soul up on the shelf and just leave them for another day. Remember days when we were young, dumb, and invincible, don’t know our souls intentions but we’re rollin’ with it, running away from all that, knowin’ today won’t call back, pick up and answer, there’s limited chances to fall on your face or fall back. But you, loved with a heart, bigger than your own intentions, and it’s not ‘bout counting friends but showing friends the right attention. Grace the world with every smile you can, you did and will for ages. Long after the record stops, hear your echoes, let them play. Mr. Cool, Mr. Authentic, Mr. Coop, show me the way, I wanna float, float away from my senses, see the world from your perspective one day, Mr. Cool, Mr. Authentic, Mr. Coop, show me the way, I wanna float, float away from my senses, see the world from your perspective…

Say Roll Your Dice, Come and roll them on me tonight, and I’m going all in, come on let’s go all in. I’m on a runway, looking for a place to land and rest my weary arms, babe, I’ve been swimming in skies of Ritalin and Andre, celebrating this calm, came from the wrong place, stuck under Babylon gates. But ill tunnel out, where the sun is out, ill be hoppin’ out of my context. In the tunnel now, and I’m running out, for this soccer match with my conscience. But when the weather is hot, and my rhetoric’s not, and I cant really decide if I want this, take a dip in the water of Lake Conchas, sippin’ hella cinnamon, listen to this concept, Sayin roll, for my people up in prison who don’t know if they’ll ever see their children learn and grow, no that’s not the life I live, but won’t throw the first stone knowin’ that my freedom is a gift. And I’ll be damned if I don’t use it. The mind is a weapon of mass destruction, don’t abuse it. But used as weapon of mass construction for that new shit, perfect every nuisance, and don’t just do it if the shoe fits, if not, get it loosened. Sayin’ Roll Your Dice, Come and roll them on me tonight, and I’m going all in, come on let’s go all in. Yeah, I’d probably climb a couple stairs for it, take dares for it, yeah I’d jump in front a bear for it, go bare for it, front of 50 thousand fans for it, but never, ever, compromise on what I’m sayin’ for it. You might be holding a different toilet, but shits the same. Don’t spend your life planning vacations just to miss the plane. I roll the dice like I know the dealer, and fixed the game, roll lucky 7’s, take a trip to fame.
